Welcome to our First Grade Website!

 Hello and Welcome to our First Grade Website!  We are now in our Second Quarter!  We are  having all kinds of fun in our Guided Reading program, learning all about Reindeer, and exploring time and money!  We are also exploring graphing and we brainstormed our New Year’s Resolutions!  We are having fun working as a team in order to earn “sitting with friends” on Fridays!  Fridays are also “read with a stuffed buddy day” and our students love to bring in their buddies to read to.  Also every weekend our classroom mascots, “Theo and Sophie Bear” go home to two homes and the students read to them, hang out with them, take them places, and then write about it and create illustrations about their time with their buddies.  We also have many photos of our classroom bears in the journals going fishing, to birthday parties, going to Mass, and even going to the dentist!
